Long-Throw vs. Short-Throw

Typically, a long-throw system is one that has high sensitivity and narrow directivity (high Di), whereas a short-throw system is one with lower sensitivity and a wider coverage (low Di). These are informal terms without precise definitions. Please note all GECKO® REVELATION series line arrays and loudspeakers are wide coverage, long-throw, high efficiency loudspeakers, powered by the GECKO® C.R.I.S.T.A.L.® WaveGuide and Audiophile technology.
